Marvellous Minibeasts (Years 1 & 2)

Explore Carymoor’s habitats and discover more about the amazing minibeasts that live here, including their incredible adaptations for survival, crazy body shapes and ‘delicious’ diets!
Depending on the season we may be hunting in the long grass of our meadow, under the logs in the woods or in and around our pond!
Wildlife discovery, games and a chance to create your own clay creature make for a fun, engaging and informative day.
Between May and July classes may also have the opportunity to visit our observational honey bee hive.
This day is in Price Band 1.

Feedback for this day includes:
"The children absolutely loved it and parents said that they had told them when they got back home.
They particularly enjoyed the shelter building. We have been before and built shelters out of willow. I think that the frames made it slightly easier for the younger children this time.
We also enjoyed the craft activity. It was a lovely addition to the visit."
