Henry the Hedgehog is Missing!

Henry the Hedgehog is Missing!

Henry the Hedgehog has disappeared and his woodland friends at Carymoor are very worried about him. The case has been referred to the police who are investigating many different lines of enquiry.

Can your class help us find Henry?!

As part of this exciting day, your mini detectives will:

  • Search for evidence of Henry and other creatures on our site: tracks, droppings and lots more!
  • Develop empathy/social skills
  • Try some simple map reading to help them explore the woods.
  • Find out more about a variety of woodland animals, their homes and diets.
  • Discover what happens during autumn and winter and how this affects woodland animals.
  • Make mini hedgehogs to take home, using clay and natural materials.

Please note: This is a seasonal education day and is best timed during the autumn term.

This day is in Price Band 1.
