Anglo Saxon History Day
Join us for a “hands on” history day at Carymoor, where your class will experience what it would be like to be living in Anglo-Saxon Britain.
Activities include:’
- Grind grain using a replica Quern stone
- Complete a Rune challenge
- Take part in our Anglo-Saxon Orienteering Quiz
- Follow our 'Footprints of the past' trail to discover more about the wild creatures that lived in Britain at the same time as the Anglo-Saxons.
- Have a go at some Anglo-Saxon games
- Making a willow plate
This day is in Price Band 2.
