Wild Day In

We can bring all the fun of a Carymoor Wild Day Out into your school! Using your school grounds, plus resources, props and even creatures from Carymoor, we'll get your pupils buzzing about the outdoors!

Our wild themes include Minibeast Mayhem; Sensory Sensations; Carymoor Crafts; Beaks, Feet and Wings; and Taking Shelter and involve a mixture of trails, games, craft and discovery.

Our Wild Day In sessions encourage children to discover the environment and flora and fauna around them. The sessions aim to boost wellbeing and mindfulness as well as encouraging teamwork and empathy skills. We can provide these sessions for all primary ages and a typical day visit consists of two sessions, one from 10am to 12pm, and one from 1pm-3pm.

To book a visit or for more information please call (01963) 351350 or e-mail education@carymoor.org.uk

We're always on the look out for people with time to spare!

Whether that's the odd hour, a regular day or even a longer work experience placement, your time is very valuable to us. Our growing team of volunteers makes a vital contribution both at the centre and at events across the county.
