Virtual Wild Day Out

Virtual Wild Day Out

If you are not able to get out to see us at Carymoor, then we can bring the wild into your school with our new virtual Wild Days Out. Our education team will bring all their enthusiasm and expertise into the online sessions to help your children learn about local wildlife.

Our virtual Wild Day Out (3 hours), differentiated for both KS1 and KS2, explores the woodland, meadows and ponds of Carymoor. We can also offer bitesize (2 hour) virtual sessions which focus on specific habitats or areas of learning such as; woodlands, meadows, birdlife and survival skills.

With interactive games, videos, and songs, we can bring the natural world in to your classroom whilst covering lots of science objectives for KS1 and KS2.

When you book a session we will provide full instructions and a link so that your classes can join the Wild Day Out.

A full Virtual Wild Day out is £200 plus VAT and a bitesize session is £150 plus VAT.

'The children in Year 5/6 thoroughly enjoyed the “Virtual Wild Day Out”. It was a perfect balance of listening to the staff watching videos taken at Carymoor, use of slides and practical hands on activities. The staff were amazing at building relationships with the children from afar and their use of praise and encouragement made the children feel like they were in the room!

We would certainly not hesitate to link with Carymoor again virtually. Thank you for working so hard to make it happen for our children!' Feedback from Castle Cary Primary
