Marvellous Minibeasts

Marvellous Minibeasts

A celebration of Minibeasts in all their marvellous shapes and sizes.

Lots of fun games and activities using your school grounds to get your class ‘buzzing’ about the teeny-tiny creatures that live there.

We’ll tailor activities to the season and weather on the day, but they may include: minibeast hunting in your grounds; minibeast themed games like ‘inspect an insect’ or ‘crazy caterpillars’; making your own minibeasts from clay and natural materials; minibeast match-up trails; minibeast themed songs and more.

Please note: This is a seasonal education day for the Spring/Summer terms.

This day is in Price Band 1.

To book a visit or for more information please call (01963) 350143 or e-mail education@carymoor.org.uk

Feedback for this day includes:

"The children absolutely loved it and parents said that they had told them when they got back home.

They particularly enjoyed the shelter building. We have been before and built shelters out of willow. I think that the frames made it slightly easier for the younger children this time.

We also enjoyed the craft activity. It was a lovely addition to the visit.
