Plant Detectives Day

Plant Detectives Day

Discover more about the fascinating world of plants as we journey through the lifecycle of a plant in one day! With fun, lively activities linking to all aspects of a flowering plant’s lifecycle we find out: the job of each part of a plant; how seeds germinate and what they need to do this; what goes on within a plant’s ‘food factory’; why flowers and seeds look the way they do and how this is linked to their roles in pollination and seed dispersal.

For full details of the activities available please view the attached file. /userfiles/files/Plant%20Detectives%20activity%20choices.docx

This day is ideal for Year 3 or mixed Year 3&4 classes as it covers parts of Year 3 National Curriculum Science.
