£500 Eco Grant for Somerset schools

Could your school benefit from an Eco Schools grant of £500? For the first time Somerset Waste Partnership is offering 50 schools the chance to win a grant to support environmental work in school. 

These grants are designed to promote participation in the Eco-Schools Programme which provides a simple seven-step framework that guides, empowers and motivates pupils to drive environmental awareness in their school, local community and beyond. Schools can apply for £500 grants to help support their membership and progression through the Eco-Schools programme.

Grants can be used for a range of environmental actions in the school and local community, including projects designed to reduce wastage around the school premises and to cover cost of Eco-School Green Flag Assessment (£200+VAT) if you apply for this. Grant applications will be assessed by representatives from Somerset Waste Partnership and Carymoor Environmental Trust.
