Willow Lantern making & Dusk Safari

Willow Lantern making & Dusk Safari

Learn to make a willow lantern in our unique and relaxing setting.

Starts: 8th Oct 2020 to 26th Oct 2020

Thursday 8th October, 4pm to 7pm (for adults)

Tuesday 27th October, 4pm to 7pm (for families)

Come and join us for a unique, sunset experience on our nature reserve at Carymoor this October. During this event, you will make a willow lantern and picnic on the nature reserve. This will be followed by a dusk safari, during which we will try to spot some of Carymoor's nocturnal residents. We are offering two versions of the event - one for adults and the other will be tailored to families.

The Carymoor Willow Lanterns and Dusk Safari is the perfect evening out for you and a friend/s. The event will be approximately three hours.

What to expect;

  • The session will be led by Carymoor's Education Manager, Karen Boswell.
  • We will be following social distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe.
  • Make a willow lantern that you can take home.
  • Enjoy an evening picnic in beautiful surroundings.
  • Go on a dusk safari!

The course will be held in our outdoor classroom, so please wear suitable clothing. We would advise that you wear long trousers and sturdy shoes.

In the event of bad weather, we will use our Education centre.
