Learning from the Land

Learning from the Land

Get outdoors, learn new skills and learn from the land!

Starts: 7th May 2021 to 28th May 2021

Are you out of work and looking to get active and learn new skills whilst enjoying the great outdoors? Our ‘Learning from the Land’ courses are a great opportunity to learn some traditional countryside skills and help fulfil your potential. The courses are FREE thanks to funding from the European Social Fund.

Tasks will include planting wildflowers and grassland management, manging ponds, basic horticulture and green woodworking skills.

The programme will take place from 10am until 4pm on four consecutive Fridays on Fri 7th, Fri 14th, Fri 21st and Fri 28th May.

No previous experience is necessary and you can work at your own rate in a friendly and supportive environment.

Further courses will run in June and July so do get in touch if you would like to discuss a place.

Booking essential: e-mail neil.gemmell@carymoor.org.uk or phone 01963 351350 to find out more.

All participants must be aged 16 or over and be able to work in the UK.
