Friday 26th November and Friday 3rd December from 10am - 4pm each day.  This is a FREE 2 day course. 

 

This is a great opportunity to learn the traditional woodland skills of coppicing and pollarding to produce sustainable timber.


Find out about the tools used and brush up on your tree ID skills using Carymoor's unique tree trail! Visit the Carymoor nature reserve and learn a new skill in a relaxed and beautiful learning environment. No previous experience is required.

 

What to expect:

  • A small group of maximum of 5 people.
  • The session will be led by Carymoor's Community Ranger, Neil Gemmell.
  • Most activities will take place outdoors.
  • Please bring your own lunch and refreshments.
