Green Workout

Get outdoors, get active and give to nature with our Green Workout Programme.

Starts: 26th Feb 2019 to 26th Mar 2019

Would you like to get active and enjoy the great outdoors while helping to protect natural habitats for wildlife? Our green workout programme gives you the chance to get involved in carying out practical winter conservation tasks on Carymoor's nature reserve.

The sessions aim to cover the five steps to wellbeing - be active, connect, take notice, learn and give to others - whilst giving you the chance to enjoy being outside in the natural environment.

Tasks will include planting wildflowers and grassland management, coppicing and pollarding, reed cutting and hedge laying.

The programme will take place from 10.30am until 3.30pm on five consecutive Tuesdays from 26th February until 26th March.

Booking essential: e-mail neil.gemmell@carymoor.org.uk or phone 01963 351350 to find out more.

All participants must be aged 19 or over and be a Somerset resident. This is a free course funded by SS&L.Image result for SS&L LOGO
