Wild Days Out Spring/summer programme for pre-school and key stage 1 groups. From September 2008 the centre will be offering a programme of wildlife themed days to run alongside the existing and highly successful waste education programme. Aimed at foundation and key stage 1 groups, but also suitable for key stage 2, Carymoor's team of experienced field teachers will deliver exciting, hands-on days out using the extensive range of habitats and wildlife found at Carymoor. Activities on offer will change with the seasons and will be based around themes including minibeasts, the senses and colour and shape, using a variety of activities including guided walks, trails, games and arts & crafts. The days consist mostly of outdoor work but with indoor activities available for inclement weather. The exact programme for your day can be tailored to the needs of your group. Early booking is advised as spaces will be limited. Carymoor Crafts : Bird Gardening : Minibeast Mayhem: Sensory Sensations : Wildlife Detectives Approximate timings for the day:
