Are you between 8 and 12 years old? Are you wild about nature? Do you fancy yourself as the next Spring Watch presenter?! Yes! Then come along to our Future Field Naturalists' Club!

Become a field naturalistFollowing on from our successful Saturday sessionslast year,combining investigating wildlife and developing I.D skills with fun, hands-on practical conservation activities, we'll now be running our nature club for 8 - 12 year-olds on one afternoon during each school holiday:

This month our nature club will be exploring Autumn's bounty and why nuts, seeds and berries are so important to our furry and feathered friends at this time of year.

  • What wild foods can we find and who eats it?Become a field naturalist
  • Find out who has been visiting our hedgerows from the trail of footprints in our special 'footprint tunnels'
  • Plant some fruit and nut trees to provide food for the future
  • ...plus lots more!

 

Charge: £6 per child per session. Suitable for 8-12 year olds (unaccompanied).
