Mountain streams to mighty rivers: they create a wide variety of homes for many creatures, from those that prefer fast tumbling waterfalls to others that are at home in the wide river mouths. Find out just how important rivers are to wildlife through some watery crafts and activities. Follow our trail from Source to Sea then have fun making a some river creatures of your own:

8th April 2015: Tracks and Trails
Is that a fox footprint? Did a roe deer jump the fence there…? Learn how to recognise some of our more commonly seen tracks and make a plaster cast and other crafts to take home!
28th May 2015: Sharp talons and hooked beaks!
From huge Golden Eagles to tiny Merlins: discover more about our wonderful birds of prey through a mixture of exciting crafts and activities.
Enjoy some light refreshments on sale in our education centre too!
