Visitor Centre Hire
Set in 100 acres of reclaimed land, the centre is a peaceful and beautiful location to hold events and courses. The facilities at the centre will make your visit all the more special. We have disabled access to the centre and all facilities. Staff will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise and answer any questions that you have. We have been awarded 'EcoCentre' status - the first such centre in Somerset.

Rates:
Single room hire - £70 per day or part thereof
Hire of the whole centre - £125 per day
Tea, coffee and biscuits and cold drinks - £1 per head
Buffet menu from £4 per head (From the local bakery who produce a good light lunch or Abbey Tea Rooms who provide a delicious spread of locally produced food)

Seating Capacity
The Octagon Room can accommodate up to 50 people and the Classroom 30 people.

We have wheelchair access.

We also have projectors, screens, laptops and flip charts availiable if you require them. Please inform us if you require these at time of booking.

Team Buildling

Looking for something different? Want a peaceful place to get away from it all? Then this is for you. Packages can be tailor made to suit you and your budget. If you are looking to spend more than one day with us then we can suggest local accommodation. We offer activities such as Creative Willow, Raise the Roof, Environmental Games, Paper rolling and Construction and much more. We have so much to offer - why not come and find out more about us and what we have waiting to share with you.

The days start at £35 per person per day, including lunch and refreshments.

Recycling in Action
We have access to the following activities run by Viridor Waste Services, which are fascinating to young and old alike:
- Active landfill operation
- Composting
- Power generators run from landfill methane
- Wind pump
- Reed bed filtration

Sustainable Energy Demonstrations
We have working outdoor demonstrations of solar and wind power installations and a dedicated renewable energy demonstration trailer.

Research Activities
We have 40 hectares of capped landfill on which guest organisations carry out various research programmes relating to habitat creation - see Research

Nature Trail and Wildlife Education
Our site has an established nature trail which is full of wildlife interest. We also provide pond dipping and a well frequented bird feeding area and hide.

The developing chalk serpent butterfly meadow is full of butterfly interest during the summer months.
