Summer programme for pre-school and key stage 1 groups.

Following a highly successful first year these popular and well received wildlife-themed days are now being offered at Fyne Court, the National Trust's property on the Quantocks, as well as Carymoor. Places at both sites are limited and we are advising schools to book well ahead.

Aimed at foundation and key stage 1 groups, but also suitable for key stage 2, our team of experienced field teachers deliver exciting, hands-on days out using the extensive range of habitats and wildlife found at Carymoor and Fyne Court. Wild Days Out are linked to Sc2 Life processes and living things and are based around the themes below. Activities are delivered using a variety of methods including guided walks, trails, games and arts & crafts. The days consist mostly of outdoor work but with indoor activities available for inclement weather. The exact programme for your day will depend on the season and site and can be tailored to the needs of your group. We can offer facilities for up to 60 at Carymoor but group sizes at Fyne Court are limited to 35 children.

' The best school trip ever' Children from South Petherton Infants

'The day was fun and educational and was so well organised that the adults could enjoy themselves too.' Teachers, South Petherton Infants
