July 2009
		Its a good year for Lady's Bedstraw. For some reason it's blooming more prolifically than usual. Not a showy plant, it has a lovely fragrance which takes you by surprise as you walk past.
		During July the butterfly colour spectrum changes from blue to brown, with gatekeepers (seen here), meadow browns and ringlets seen in large numbers on the butterfly transect.
