Its
a good year for Lady's Bedstraw. For some reason it's blooming more
prolifically than usual. Not a showy plant, it has a lovely fragrance
which takes you by surprise as you walk past. |

During
July the butterfly colour spectrum changes from blue to brown, with
gatekeepers (seen here), meadow browns and ringlets seen in large
numbers on the butterfly transect. |
